The only 360 sprint car race held at Willamette Speedway in Lebanon, Ore., will be when the Northwest Region visits on July 15.
The 1/3rd mile, high-banked clay oval opened in 1966 by the Arnold family.
"The most unique thing is that it's been owned by the same family for the past 43 years," said Bill Arnold, whose parents started the Speedway. "It's a real homey feeling. The grandstands are solid wood and it's just a real fun, professional crowd. They come here to watch racing.
"We always try to prep the track so that the upper groove is faster. It doesn't always work that way. Typically a lot of races are won on the outside groove of this track."
The Arnold's also offer three areas of free camping around the track.
Roger Crockett won the lone race at the Speedway last season.
